K&N 69-6000TR Typhoon Short Ram Intake System - Red - 1999-2005 Mazda Miata

The K&N 69-6000TR Typhoon air intake system replaces the restrictive factory air filter and intake housing with a free-flowing, mandrel-bent aluminum tube designed to smooth and straighten airflow. This increased volume of air allows for improved engine breathing, resulting in measurable gains in power and acceleration throughout the RPM range. The intake tube features an attractive and durable red powder-coat finish and is designed to accommodate the factory mass air sensor, air temperature sensor, and crankcase vent hose.

This system includes an oversized cone-shaped K&N high-flow air filter with a black rubber top. The filter is washable and reusable, capable of going up to 100,000 miles before servicing is required depending on driving conditions. Installation typically takes 90 minutes or less using existing factory mounting points and basic hand tools.
