Fits select 1999-2005 Chevrolet Impala, Monte Carlo, and Pontiac Grand Prix models equipped with the V6-3.8L engine. This K&N Performance Air Intake Kit (MPN: 57-3045) is engineered to replace the restrictive factory air box and filter to improve airflow volume and engine performance.
The system features a rotationally-molded high-density polyethylene (HDPE) intake tube that streamlines airflow directly to the throttle body. It is paired with an oversized, conical High-Flow Air Filter constructed from oiled cotton media, providing high-efficiency filtration while allowing for service intervals up to 100,000 miles under normal highway conditions. A custom-fit heat shield is included to isolate the air filter from high engine bay temperatures, ensuring a cooler, denser air charge.
