The K&N Typhoon Performance Intake Kit (69-1016-1TS) is a free-flowing, mandrel-bent aluminum tube air induction system designed to reduce intake restriction and smooth out airflow. By replacing the restrictive factory air filter and intake housing, this silver-powder-coated system allows your engine to breathe more efficiently for improved throttle response. The kit features an oversized, conical High-Flow Air Filter with oiled cotton media that is washable and reusable, capable of going up to 100,000 miles between services under normal driving conditions.
This system includes a custom heat shield designed to isolate the intake air from high engine bay temperatures. It is engineered to bolt directly to factory mounting points for a straightforward installation that typically takes less than 90 minutes.
