The K&N RG-1001RD Universal Air Filter is a high-performance, clamp-on solution engineered for custom intake systems, racing vehicles, and specialty equipment. This filter features a round tapered profile with signature red media and a chrome-finished top, balancing superior filtration with a clean engine bay aesthetic.
Constructed with four layers of premium cotton gauze treated with a specialized tacking agent, the RG-1001RD creates an intricate mesh designed to capture harmful contaminants without sacrificing airflow. The filter is built with a molded, pliable rubber flange that absorbs engine vibration for a more secure attachment. This flange provides flexibility during installation, capable of stretching up to 1/16 in (1.5mm) to fit between standard sizes. Every K&N universal filter is fully washable and reusable, designed to be the last filter your equipment needs.
