The K&N RU-1048 Universal Clamp-On Air Filter is engineered for versatility and high-flow performance across a wide range of custom applications, including racing vehicles, generators, snowmobiles, and tractors. Designed as a high-performance alternative to restrictive paper filters, this unit provides a secure fit for intake systems requiring a 6-inch flange diameter.
Constructed with ultra-strong, molded pliable rubber flanges, the RU-1048 is built to absorb engine vibration and ensure a reliable seal. The flange material is flexible enough to be stretched up to 1/16-inch (1.5mm) to accommodate fractional differences in intake tube diameters. Like all K&N universal filters, the media is fully washable and reusable, providing long-term service life.
