The Kartboy 6-Speed Short Shifter Kit (KB-20-STI) is a precision-engineered upgrade designed to eliminate the long, rubbery gear throws found in the factory STI linkage. By reducing both the shift throw and the overall lever height, this kit provides a shorter, more mechanical engagement that improves driver feedback and allows for faster gear changes during spirited driving.
Constructed for durability and a factory-like fit, this shifter installs into the OEM housing and maintains full functionality of the reverse lockout mechanism. It is compatible with both the factory shift knob and most aftermarket M12x1.25 threaded knobs.
