King Engine Bearings XP-series tri-metal connecting rod bearings are engineered for high-load performance applications. This STDX set is specifically designed for engine builders requiring an additional .001" (0.025mm) of oil clearance compared to standard sizing, making them ideal for high-RPM or forced-induction 3.5L V6 builds where thermal expansion and oil film thickness are critical. The tri-metal construction features a hardened steel back with a copper-lead intermediate layer and a babbitt overlay for superior fatigue resistance and load capacity.
