The Koni Special Active 8245 Series rear shock is engineered to solve the traditional compromise between cornering performance and ride comfort. Utilizing patented Frequency Selective Damping (FSD) technology, this twin-tube low-pressure gas shock mechanically adjusts its damping force based on road frequency. It provides the firm control needed for spirited driving while automatically softening to absorb harsh impacts from expansion joints and rough pavement—all without the complexity of electronic sensors or manual adjustment.
