Fits select 2012-2021 BMW 2 Series, 3 Series, 4 Series, and M2 models including RWD and xDrive variants with M-Technik suspension.
The Koni Special Active series utilizes the latest generation of Koni’s patented Frequency Selective Damping (FSD) technology. This front shock absorber is engineered to improve handling and ride quality simultaneously by adapting to road conditions in real-time. Unlike traditional performance dampers that require a compromise between firmness and comfort, the Special Active valve system controls high-frequency vibrations from rough pavement while maintaining firm damping for low-frequency cornering loads. This mechanical system functions without the need for electronic sensors, cables, or manual adjustments.
