The Koni Special Active (RED) 8245 Series shock absorber utilizes patented Frequency Selective Damping (FSD) technology to bridge the gap between handling performance and ride comfort. This twin-tube, low-pressure gas shock mechanically adjusts its damping force based on the road surface and driving style, providing firm control during spirited cornering while remaining supple over expansion joints and rough pavement. As a direct replacement for your factory rear dampers, this unit improves stability and chassis control without the need for complex electronics or sensors.
