The KONI Special Active 8745 Series front strut utilizes patented Frequency Selective Damping (FSD) technology to bridge the gap between high-performance handling and daily driving comfort. This twin-tube, low-pressure gas strut automatically adjusts its damping force based on the frequency of road inputs—stiffening for sharp cornering and softening over expansion joints and rough pavement—all without the need for electronic sensors or cables.
