Fits 1982-1992 Chevrolet Camaro and Pontiac Firebird models.
The KYB Excel-G front strut is engineered to restore your vehicle's original handling and control capabilities. As an Original Equipment for the Aftermarket (OEA) component, the Excel-G is manufactured on the same assembly lines as KYB's OEM products, using identical quality components and calibration to match factory damping characteristics rather than altering them.
This nitrogen gas-charged, twin-tube strut addresses common wear issues such as increased stopping distances, excessive body roll, and reduced steering responsiveness. To ensure a quiet and vibration-free installation, it is recommended to install new strut mounts (KYB part numbers SM5027 and SM5028) alongside this unit.
