The KYB Excel-G Front Left Strut is engineered for a specific performance purpose: restoring your vehicle's original handling and control characteristics. As a world-leading supplier of shocks and struts to new vehicle manufacturers, KYB manufactures the Excel-G on the same OE assembly lines using identical quality components. This has earned the series the OEA (Original Equipment for the Aftermarket) classification.
This nitrogen gas-charged, twin-tube strut is calibrated to compensate for worn internal suspension components, helping recover factory-spec stopping distances, lane change stability, and cornering responsiveness. To maintain long-term performance, it is recommended to protect the piston rod from dirt and road salt using KYB Strut Boot part number SB103.
