Fits 2004-2005 Subaru Forester (X, XS, XS L.L. Bean Edition, XT, and XT Premium).
The KYB Excel-G nitrogen gas-charged strut is engineered to restore the original ride control and handling characteristics of your Subaru Forester. Unlike performance-valved shocks that can alter ride stiffness, the Excel-G series is specifically calibrated to compensate for worn suspension and return the vehicle to its factory-designed capabilities. This twin-tube strut is manufactured on the same assembly lines as KYB's original equipment components, utilizing identical materials and tolerances to earn its OEA (Original Equipment for the Aftermarket) classification.
By replacing a worn front left strut with this OE-spec unit, you restore critical vehicle stability, stopping distance, and lane-change responsiveness. For maximum protection against road salt and debris, KYB recommends installing a new strut boot (part number SB103) during assembly.
