The KYB Gas-a-just is a high-pressure monotube strut designed to restore original vehicle handling capabilities or upgrade from a standard twin-tube design. Engineered for responsiveness and stability, this strut features a dual-chamber design that separates the working fluid from the gas to eliminate aeration and performance fade.
- Responsive Control: Features an air-free hydraulic piston and valve area for immediate reaction to road inputs.
- Performance on Demand: A separate high-pressure nitrogen gas chamber with a floating piston provides a comfortable ride during normal cruising and adds instant damping support when road conditions demand it.
- Monotube Efficiency: Specifically built to handle the higher damping requirements of luxury performance sedans like the Lexus IS series.
- Installation Note: To ensure optimal performance and eliminate noise or vibration, KYB recommends replacing the strut mount during installation (Compatible Part Number: SM5642).
