The KYB Gas-A-Just (KG4538) is a high-pressure monotube shock absorber designed to restore or exceed the original handling capabilities of your vehicle. Unlike standard twin-tube designs, the Gas-A-Just features a completely separate hydraulic piston and valve area from the high-pressure nitrogen gas chamber. A floating piston keeps the oil and gas apart, which eliminates aeration and foaming to maintain consistent damping performance even under heavy use.
This responsive design provides a comfortable ride during normal cruising but reacts instantly to road inputs for increased control and stability. By restoring factory-level suspension performance, it also helps ensure that critical electronic safety systems, such as ABS and stability control, operate as originally intended.
