The MagnaFlow 12249 Performance Exhaust Muffler is engineered to deliver a smooth, deep exhaust tone while improving flow via a straight-through perforated stainless steel core. This universal muffler features a 100% stainless steel construction, using a stainless steel mesh wrap and acoustic fiber fill to manage sound without the restrictive baffles found in OEM units. The weight-optimized 5x8-inch oval body is 18 inches long and finished in a corrosion-resistant satin to provide a clean aesthetic under the vehicle.
Built with CNC precision robotic manufacturing for exacting tolerances, this bi-directional muffler is reversible, allowing for flexible orientation of the 3-inch center inlet and outlet. While this is a universal component requiring custom fitment, professional installation is highly recommended to ensure proper exhaust system geometry and weld integrity.
