Manley Platinum Series pistons are engineered for high-output builds requiring superior structural integrity and precise tolerances. Forged from domestic 2618 aluminum alloy, these pistons utilize a unique manufacturing process where skirt turning and ring groove machining are performed in a single operation. This ensures ultimate squareness between the ring groove and the skirt for an optimized ring seal and increased power output.
The Platinum Series features application-specific cam and barrel skirt profiles that reduce friction and wear on cylinder walls while maintaining stability under high thermal loads. Each set includes premium Chrome Moly wrist pins as standard, designed to withstand the rigors of high-RPM naturally aspirated or forced induction applications.
