Fits 2001-2006 BMW M3 Base models (3.2L).
Maximize the cooling efficiency of your E46 with the Mishimoto Performance Aluminum Fan Shroud Kit. This kit is designed to completely eliminate the stock mechanical clutch fan, a common failure point in high-performance BMW engines. The included 16-inch high-flow electric fan delivers over 1850 CFM of airflow, providing consistent cooling even in demanding driving conditions. The shroud is constructed from high-quality aluminum with a brushed finish and is designed to mount directly to both factory and Mishimoto radiators.
Beyond cooling reliability, this conversion frees up horsepower. Dynojet testing has shown gains of 5 whp from 6500-7500 rpm and 1-2 whp gains throughout the majority of the power band by reducing parasitic drag. The fan mounting is offset to ensure adequate clearance for vehicles equipped with popular supercharger kits. This kit includes the essential hardware for installation and a dedicated clutch fan removal tool.
