The Mishimoto MMTB-WRX-01 Turbo Blanket provides a critical thermal barrier for your Subaru’s engine bay. By insulating the turbocharger's hot side, this blanket keeps exhaust gases hot to maintain velocity and improve spooling efficiency. More importantly, it prevents radiant heat from soaking into the top-mount intercooler (TMIC) and other sensitive components, ensuring lower intake air temperatures and consistent performance.
Designed for professional-grade durability, this blanket features an outer layer of volcanic lava rock and titanium woven fabric. The internal structure utilizes a high-silica lining reinforced with stainless-steel mesh, allowing the blanket to endure extreme thermal cycling without breaking down. This direct-fit solution installs securely over the stock turbocharger housing using the included hardware.
