The Mishimoto MMRAD-C6-05 Performance Aluminum Radiator is engineered to eliminate the cooling bottlenecks of the factory C6 Corvette setup. While the original equipment relies on plastic end tanks and a narrow core, this unit features a full aluminum construction with high-strength TIG-welded end tanks for superior durability and longevity under high-performance conditions. It replaces the ill-equipped stock radiator to prevent overheated LS engines during spirited driving or track use.
This radiator utilizes a redesigned two-row core with a total thickness of two inches, providing a 56% increase in fin surface area and a 45% increase in coolant volume compared to stock. For maximum compatibility across all factory cooling packages, it features integrated engine oil and automatic transmission coolers built directly into the end tanks. This design ensures a direct-fit installation while dropping outlet temperatures by 5°F across the powerband.
