The Mishimoto MMTS-MB62-08L Racing Thermostat is engineered to provide superior cooling efficiency for high-performance Mercedes-Benz AMG engines. By activating at a significantly lower temperature than the factory unit, this thermostat allows coolant to flow through the engine earlier, helping to maintain lower overall operating temperatures and prevent overheating during spirited driving or track use. While the stock thermostat is set to open at 212°F (100°C), the Mishimoto racing version opens at 180°F (82°C), proactively managing thermal loads before they impact performance.
