The Mishimoto Performance Cold Air Intake Kit replaces the restrictive factory airbox to optimize airflow and lower intake air temperatures (IATs). Engineered as a direct bolt-on for the EJ-series engine, this kit features a mandrel-bent aluminum intake pipe finished in a durable wrinkle red powder coat. To ensure consistent engine performance and drivability on the factory tune, Mishimoto utilizes an integrated air straightener and a CNC-machined mass airflow (MAF) sensor housing to provide precise sensor readings and a smooth power band.

Designed to mitigate heat soak, the kit positions the serviceable oiled filter outside the hot engine bay and includes a dedicated powder-coated heat shield. Dyno testing shows proven gains of 25 hp and 25 tq at 5300 rpm while maintaining safe air/fuel ratios. This intake provides an aggressive tone under load and installs in under an hour with standard hand tools.
