The Mishimoto Performance Air Intake Kit is engineered to provide a bolt-on power increase of 7 whp and 5 wtq without the need for front bumper removal or ECU tuning. Designed as a direct-fit upgrade, this system replaces the restrictive factory intake with a smooth-bore aluminum intake pipe and a blue silicone induction hose, significantly reducing turbulence and improving throttle response. To ensure engine safety and optimal performance, the kit features a CNC-machined mass airflow (MAF) housing and an integrated air straightener, maintaining laminar airflow and accurate sensor readings across the entire powerband.

This kit includes a powder-coated steel airbox designed to shield the filter from engine bay heat soak, and it is fully compatible with the Mishimoto BRZ/FR-S oil cooler kit. The included high-flow oiled air filter provides a 16% increase in surface area compared to the stock unit, offering superior filtration and a deeper, more aggressive intake tone under acceleration.
