Fits 2015-2020 BMW M2 Competition, M3, and M4 (S55 Engine). This kit is a direct-fit replacement for the factory oil cooler, designed to address the vulnerabilities of the stock cooling system while significantly increasing thermal capacity.

BMW engineers placed the F8X oil cooler in a position that leverages aerodynamics but leaves the lightweight tube-and-fin core exposed to road debris. Mishimoto solves this with a robust, full-aluminum TIG-welded bar-and-plate core. This construction is significantly more durable against impacts and provides superior heat transfer. The core is 10mm thicker than the OEM unit, resulting in a 46-percent increase in core volume and an additional 0.4-quart oil capacity.

Beyond the core, this kit upgrades the factory hardlines—which are susceptible to corrosion and abrasion—with application-specific, flexible nylon braided lines. The kit includes specially designed adapters for a secure connection to the S55 oil pump using high-quality AN fittings. This comprehensive upgrade ensures your M-series maintains optimal oil temperatures during aggressive street or track use.
