Manage engine bay heat and protect your top-mount intercooler with the Mishimoto MMTB-WRX-15 Turbo Blanket. This component is engineered as a direct fit for the factory Garrett turbocharger to isolate the hot side, maintaining exhaust gas velocity for more efficient spooling while preventing radiant heat from increasing intake air temperatures.
The blanket is built for extreme thermal environments, featuring an outer layer of volcanic lava rock and titanium woven fabric. The inner layer is composed of high-silica fabric reinforced with a stainless-steel mesh to ensure long-term durability under high-stress conditions. This construction allows the internal layer to withstand temperatures up to 2,300°F (1,260°C) while the outer layer protects against temperatures over 1,760°F (960°C).
