Standard plastic coolant expansion tanks are prone to failure and fatigue after years of constant temperature variations. The Mishimoto Aluminum Coolant Expansion Tank (MMRT-FIST-14E) replaces the factory unit with a durable, TIG-welded alternative designed for longevity and performance. Unlike the stock unit, this tank features internal baffles that prevent coolant sloshing and starvation during high-speed cornering, braking, and acceleration, ensuring air stays out of the cooling system.
This tank is engineered for a direct-fit installation on 2011-2019 Ford Fiesta models and can be installed in under one hour using factory mounting points. It is designed to work with the stock expansion tank cap and includes an integrated sight glass for quick hot and cold fluid level checks. The polished finish provides a significant aesthetic upgrade over the yellowed factory plastic.
