The Mishimoto Performance Air Intake for the 2015-2017 Subaru WRX STI is engineered to replace the restrictive factory airbox with a high-flow induction system that delivers dyno-proven power. This kit provides gains of up to 20 whp and 18 wtq while maintaining safe air/fuel ratios on the stock tune. The system features a 3-inch mandrel-bent aluminum intake pipe equipped with a CNC-machined mass airflow (MAF) sensor housing and an integrated air straightener to ensure precise, consistent sensor readings for smooth engine performance.

To combat power-robbing heat soak, the kit includes a powder-coated heat shield that isolates the filter from the engine bay's high temperatures. The included Mishimoto oiled air filter provides 16% more surface area than the factory filter, ensuring superior airflow and filtration. This bolt-on upgrade installs in under an hour and includes a silicone coupler, heavy-duty clamps, and a rubber cap for the sound symposer housing.
