The Mishimoto Performance Aluminum Radiator is engineered to provide superior cooling for MQB-platform vehicles under harsh driving conditions. While the factory radiator relies on a thin core and plastic end tanks prone to cracking and leaking, this upgrade features a full-aluminum construction with precision TIG-welding for long-term durability and performance.

Designed with a 1.65-inch (42mm) brazed core, this radiator provides a 56-percent increase in core volume and a 76-percent increase in external fin surface area compared to the stock unit. The core utilizes 4.5mm louvered fins and strutted coolant tubes to increase structural rigidity, significantly reducing the risk of damage from twisting or flexing.
