Optimize your induction system with the Mishimoto Inlet Pipe Upgrade Kit, engineered to eliminate flow bottlenecks between the air intake and the turbocharger compressor. While the factory cast-aluminum component is durable, its internal geometry limits airflow for enthusiasts pushing higher boost levels. Utilizing 3D printing and flow bench testing, Mishimoto developed an optimized internal pathway that is 16.7% less restrictive than the stock unit, improving turbo spool and overall efficiency.
The kit features a hybrid construction for maximum durability and fitment precision. The lower section consists of a CNC-machined cast-aluminum flange that bolts directly to the turbo compressor inlet, maintaining OEM-spec sealing surfaces. This is professionally TIG-welded to a mandrel-bent aluminum upper tube, finished in a durable black powder coat. The system includes a 4-ply silicone coupler specifically designed to mate with the Mishimoto Performance Intake MAF housing, ensuring a secure, leak-free connection under load.
