The Mishimoto Turbo Inlet Pipe Upgrade Kit (MMAI-CTR-17URD) optimizes the induction pathway for the K20C1 engine, providing a significant reduction in intake restriction. Through 3D modeling and flow bench testing, Mishimoto engineered a replacement that is 16.7% less restrictive than the stock cast-aluminum unit, allowing the turbocharger to pull in air more efficiently for improved spool and performance.
Construction features a precision CNC-machined cast-aluminum turbo compressor inlet flange for a perfect OE-style bolt-on fit. This is TIG-welded to a mandrel-bent aluminum upper section, ensuring a smooth, consistent internal diameter. The kit is finished in a durable red powder coat and includes a custom 4-ply silicone coupler designed to integrate specifically with the Mishimoto Performance Intake MAF housing.
