Protect your FA24 engine from the high oil temperatures common in turbocharged applications with the Mishimoto Thermostatic Oil Cooler Kit. While the factory liquid-to-liquid heat exchanger is sufficient for daily commuting, modified or track-driven WRX models require more robust cooling to prevent oil degradation and engine failure. This kit adds 0.75 quarts of oil capacity to the system and reduces operating temperatures by a dyno-proven 20 degrees.
The core of this system is a 19-row stacked-plate oil cooler mounted in the upper grille for maximum airflow using application-specific brackets. The included thermostatic sandwich plate ensures engine oil reaches its ideal operating temperature before being routed to the cooler, preventing over-cooling in cold weather. The kit features pre-assembled black nylon-covered stainless steel lines with -10AN fittings for a reliable, leak-free installation.
