Manage your BMW's operating temperatures more effectively with the Mishimoto low-temp racing thermostat. Designed specifically for the M52, M54, and M56 engine families, this unit begins opening at 70°C (158°F). This is approximately 27°C (48°F) earlier than the standard factory thermostat, allowing coolant to circulate through the radiator sooner to mitigate heat soak during track sessions or high-load spirited driving.
This racing thermostat comes pre-installed in a durable housing, ensuring a direct-fit installation that matches the factory mounting points. By replacing the entire housing assembly, you eliminate the risk of brittle plastic failure often associated with aging OE components. Every kit includes the necessary thermostat housing gasket and is covered by the Mishimoto Lifetime Warranty.
