The Mishimoto MMOP-SPT Thermostatic Oil Sandwich Plate provides precise oil temperature regulation for high-performance engines. CNC-machined from lightweight 6061 aluminum, this high-flow sandwich plate features a built-in 185°F (85°C) thermostat that prevents oil flow to the cooler until the engine reaches operating temperature. This ensures significantly faster warm-up times and essential oil system protection in colder climates.
Equipped with an M20 x 1.5 thread pitch, this plate includes a single 1/8" NPT side port with a plug, perfect for installing oil temperature or pressure sensors, or a turbo oil feed line. For custom tuning of your cooling system, the internal 185°F thermostat is interchangeable with 160°F or 200°F units (sold separately), allowing for unparalleled control over engine oil operating temperatures.
