This Omix headlight retaining ring is an OE-style replacement designed to securely hold the sealed beam headlight within the housing. Over time, factory rings can corrode, warp, or become damaged during bulb changes, leading to loose lamps and poor beam alignment. This direct-fit component restores the structural integrity of your headlamp assembly using the original mounting points.
Application-specific fitment: this ring installs on the driver side for 1984-1996 Cherokee and 1987-1995 Wrangler models. For 1997-2001 Cherokee models, it fits the passenger side. For a complete housing replacement, pair this ring with companion housing 12421.01.
