The Pedders Urethane Rear Crossmember Bushing Inserts are engineered to bridge the gap between factory comfort and performance handling. On the Zeta platform, the OE rear crossmember bushings contain large voids designed to isolate vibration, but these gaps allow for significant cradle movement. This often results in axle tramp (wheel hop) and a vague, disconnected feel from the rear end during aggressive acceleration or cornering.
These four inserts are designed to slide directly into the factory bushing voids, effectively increasing the durometer of the mounting point without the labor-intensive process of pressing out the entire OE bushing. This design provides a more stable subframe platform, ensuring more consistent suspension geometry and improved power delivery to the ground while maintaining street-friendly levels of Noise, Vibration, and Harshness (NVH).
