The PERRIN Cold-Air Intake is engineered to increase horsepower and torque by drawing in cooler, denser air from outside the engine bay. This system replaces the restrictive factory air box and plastic intake hose with a mandrel-bent aluminum intake tube and a high-flow foam air filter. By positioning the filter away from engine heat, it ensures lower intake air temperatures (IATs), which is critical for maintaining consistent performance on turbocharged EJ-series engines.
This intake is finished in a durable black powder coat for a clean, stealthy look under the hood. It is designed for a straightforward installation, bolting directly to existing factory mounting points. The increased airflow not only improves throttle response but also enhances the signature boxer induction sound under boost.
