The PERRIN Pitch Stop Mount and Firewall Brace kit addresses two critical weak points in the VA chassis drivetrain and structural assembly. This kit replaces the soft, factory pitch stop mount with a more rigid unit to significantly reduce engine and transmission movement during aggressive acceleration and gear transitions. By controlling this movement, more power is effectively transferred to the wheels while improving shift feel.
The included firewall brace provides essential reinforcement for the thin factory metal. By distributing the load across the pitch stop mounting point, it prevents the firewall from flexing or cracking—a known issue under heavy use. Finished in a durable black coating, this bolt-on upgrade provides both structural security and a clean engine bay aesthetic.
