The PERRIN Large Front Mount Intercooler (FMIC) core is engineered for high-performance builds that demand superior thermal management. Designed to replace restrictive factory setups or smaller aftermarket cores, this unit provides the surface area necessary to significantly reduce intake air temperatures (IATs). Lowering charge air temperatures allows for more aggressive timing and increased boost levels while protecting the engine from heat soak during spirited driving or track sessions.
Built with a high-efficiency bar-and-plate design, this core features a durable black finish that offers a stealthy appearance behind the bumper while providing excellent corrosion resistance. The internal fin density is optimized to balance maximum cooling capacity with minimal pressure drop across the core.
