The PERRIN Cold-Air Intake replaces the restrictive factory airbox with a high-flow induction system designed to deliver cooler, more consistent air to the turbocharger. By utilizing mandrel-bent aluminum tubing, this intake provides a smooth internal path for laminar airflow, improving throttle response and increasing horsepower across the RPM range. The system is engineered to pull air from outside the engine bay, helping to lower intake air temperatures (IATs) during heavy load or track conditions.
Construction features a precision CNC-machined MAF sensor bung to ensure accurate air-metering and prevent the drivability issues or lean codes often associated with aftermarket intakes. The durable black textured powder-coat finish resists heat soak and provides a clean, professional appearance under the hood.
