The Prothane front motor mount insert (14-504) is engineered to solve the excessive engine movement common in the B15 chassis. Factory rubber mounts are designed with large voids to prioritize comfort, but these gaps allow for engine pitch and wheel hop during aggressive acceleration and shifting. By filling these voids with high-durometer polyurethane, this insert stabilizes the engine and drivetrain, ensuring more power reaches the ground while providing crisper shift engagement.
