Fits 1996-2001 Toyota Tacoma Base, Pre Runner, and S-Runner models.
Replace soft, degraded factory rubber with Prothane polyurethane strut arm bushings to restore front-end stability and steering precision. Factory rubber bushings are prone to cracking and compression set, which leads to unwanted movement in the strut arm (tension rod). This deflection causes alignment shifts during braking and cornering, resulting in vague steering feel and uneven tire wear.
These high-durometer polyurethane bushings provide a firmer pivot point, maintaining proper caster and toe settings under load. Engineered as a direct-fit replacement for the 2WD Tacoma chassis, they are resistant to road oils, salt, and environmental rot that typically destroys OE components. The black finish provides an understated, factory-like appearance with the performance benefits of a modern polymer.
