The Radium Engineering Air Oil Separator (AOS) kit is an essential upgrade for the 2015-2017 Subaru WRX, specifically designed to manage crankcase ventilation and protect the FA20DIT engine. This kit intercepts oil vapor and moisture before they can enter the intake manifold, preventing the carbon buildup on intake valves that commonly plagues direct-injection engines. By maintaining a cleaner intake tract, this AOS helps preserve fuel octane ratings and prevents performance-robbing detonation.
This system features a CNC-machined, baffled canister that provides superior oil-air separation compared to the factory PCV setup. The kit is engineered for a clean installation, mounting to existing factory points and including all necessary oil-resistant hoses and application-specific hardware. Unlike a standard catch can, this AOS returns collected oil back to the crankcase, making it a low-maintenance solution for both street and track use.
