The Radium Engineering FCST-X (Fuel Cell Surge Tank) is a professional-grade fueling solution designed for competition fuel cells. This drop-in system solves the critical issue of fuel starvation during high-G cornering or low fuel levels by maintaining a dedicated reservoir of fuel for the primary pumps at all times.
This specific configuration includes three Walbro GSS342 fuel pumps. The single lift pump is responsible for scavenging fuel from the main cell to keep the surge tank filled, while the two primary pressure pumps deliver fuel to the engine. The system is engineered for ease of maintenance, featuring modular lift-out fuel pump modules that allow for service or pump replacement without complete disassembly.
