The Rancho RS5000X RS55296 is a high-performance twin-tube gas shock absorber engineered to improve handling and ride quality on both factory-height and leveled trucks. Utilizing exclusive Cross Tuned technology, this shock features a unique rebound valving system and an advanced compression phase that manages vehicle motion effectively during off-road articulation or highway towing. The Progressive Engagement Valving (PEV) is custom-tuned to minimize initial impact harshness at low speeds while maintaining control during aggressive maneuvers.

Built for durability in harsh environments, the shock features a 16mm nitro-carburized piston rod to resist scuffing and corrosion, paired with double-welded loops at critical stress points. The internal 35mm sintered iron piston provides structural integrity, while the 150 PSI nitrogen gas charge reduces fluid foaming and damping fade under heavy use.
