The Rancho RS5000X Rear Shock Absorber (RS55056) provides a significant handling upgrade for select 1999-2013 Chevrolet, GMC, Dodge, Ram, and Hummer trucks and SUVs. Built to withstand extreme environments, the RS5000X features a large twin-tube body filled with all-weather fluid capable of operating between -40 and 248°F. The nitrogen gas charge, pressurized to 150 PSI, minimizes air-to-oil foaming to reduce damping fade during heavy use. For long-term durability, the unit includes double-welded loops and a 16mm nitro-carburized piston rod to resist scuffs and corrosion.
