The Rancho RS5000X front shock absorber (RS55329) is a gas-pressurized twin-tube unit engineered for drivers who demand both highway comfort and off-road capability. Utilizing Rancho's exclusive Progressive Engagement Valving, the RS5000X is custom-tuned to reduce harsh initial impacts at low speeds while maintaining firm control during aggressive maneuvers or rough trail conditions.

Construction features include a heavy-duty 16mm nitro-carburized piston rod for superior scuff and corrosion resistance and a 35mm sintered iron piston for long-term structural integrity. To ensure consistent performance in any climate, the shock is filled with all-weather fluid designed to operate within a temperature range of -40 to 248°F.
