The Rancho RS5000X series shock absorber utilizes Cross Tuned technology and Progressive Engagement Valving to deliver a refined ride on-road and controlled performance off-road. Designed with a large twin-tube body, this gas-pressurized shock minimizes fluid aeration and shock fade during demanding use. The internal design features a 35mm sintered iron piston and an application-specific compression control valve to regulate fluid transfer and absorb harsh impacts without disc flutter.
- Heavy-Duty Construction: Features a 16mm nitro-carburized piston rod for superior corrosion resistance and double-welded loops at stress areas for structural integrity.
- Advanced Valving: Progressive Engagement Valving is custom-tuned to reduce initial impact at low speeds while maintaining control during aggressive maneuvers.
- Climate Resilient: All-weather fluid ensures consistent damping in extreme temperatures ranging from -40°F to 248°F.
- Gas Pressurized: Nitrogen gas charged to 150 PSI to minimize the air-to-oil mixture, reducing damping fade and foaming.
- Protection Included: Includes a polyvinyl protective boot to shield the rod and oil seal from dirt and debris.
