Fits select 1963-1995 Chevrolet and GMC Blazer, C/K/R Series trucks, and G-Series vans. This Rancho RS5000X shock absorber is engineered to provide a significant upgrade in handling and control for classic GM light trucks and vans, whether on the pavement or off-road.

Built with Rancho's exclusive Cross Tuned technology, this shock features a unique Progressive Engagement Valving system. This custom-tuned design allows for a smooth ride during low-speed crawling by reducing initial impacts, while maintaining firm control during high-speed maneuvers or rough terrain. The twin-tube body is nitrogen gas-pressurized to 150 PSI, which effectively minimizes the air-to-oil mixture that causes performance fade and foaming under heavy use.

Constructed for durability in harsh environments, the RS55120 features a 16mm nitro-carburized piston rod to resist scuffing and corrosion, along with a 35mm sintered iron piston for structural integrity. The self-lubricating seal and fluon-banded piston ensure low friction and a long service life, while the included polyvinyl boot protects the rod from road debris.
