The Rancho RS5000X series (MPN: RS55194) is a twin-tube gas-pressurized shock designed to improve handling and control on and off-road. Engineered with Cross Tuned technology, these shocks utilize a unique rebound valving system and an advanced compression phase to manage impacts across various terrains. The nitrogen gas charge is pressurized to 150 PSI to minimize aeration and foaming, ensuring consistent damping performance even during heavy use.
- 35mm sintered iron piston provides structural integrity and increased surface area for precise control.
- 16mm nitro-carburized piston rod resists scuffs and corrosion for long-term durability.
- All-weather fluid allows for consistent operation in extreme temperatures ranging from -40 to 248°F.
- Progressive Engagement Valving reduces initial impact harshness at low speeds.
- Self-lubricating seal and fluon-banded piston enhance responsiveness and reduce internal friction.
- Includes a polyvinyl protective boot and rubber bushings to absorb ride harshness.
- Double-welded loops at stress areas for maximum strength.
